Sugar Babe's lone album, Songs, produced and engineered by Otaki, was release in 1975 as the flagship release of Otaki's Niagara label. Songs was re-released in 1999 on the Planets label, rekindling interest in the band and its music, and introducing it to a whole new generation of artists and music lovers. In 1999 she studied in New York City for a year, and became interested in working on overseas films. In May 2006 Chinatsu became part of the group Chinatouchable, a one-time unit on Sony Music Entertainment to sing the ending theme for the anime "Keroro Gunsou". Ayumi is also the all-time 4th best-selling artist [1] in Japan and the highest selling solo and female artist [2] in Japan. Her original work "Into the Light" was featured on "Dear. Despite unsuccessful first single and album under the Nippon Columbia label in 1995 (both of the rap genre), she debuted in the pop scene with poker face under the Avex Trax label in 1998 and thousands of fans attest to her attractiveness and musical potential. During this time she began to appear actively in magazines, variety programs, and gravure websites, and at this time changed her name.
